R&D Food Technologist Traineeship
You will be a part of multidisciplinary Monde Nissin Singapore - R&D team responsible for innovative and commercially viable Future Food products, using sustainable protein (fungus protein, plant protein and other novel ingredients) for customers in Singapore and Asia region.
You will
- Gain a good understanding of the global food sustainability and security challenges
- Knowledge on R&D fundamental including product life cycle, roles of R&D, fermentation, culinary, food science, managing IP and regulatory, safe use of equipment as well as liaising with suppliers/manufacturers
- Evaluate fermentation and other processes to develop new protein ingredient and new functional ingredient to be used inFuture Food product development
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in food science/technology, chemical engineering, bioengineering/biotechnology, pharmaceutical science/engineering, culinary science or equivalent
- Passionate, adaptable, collaborative and innovative with a growth mindset
Traineeship Duration: 6 months (start from July 2024)
Eligibility Criteria for SGUnited Traineeships:
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2024, 2025 from ITE, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (eg., private or overseas); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service are welcome to apply
