Job Description:
· Coordinate production department activities
· Ensure proper machining set-up & identifies the machine for servicing/repair if necessary
· Perform troubleshooting when errors occur
· Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
· Production scheduling
· Staff scheduling
· Lead production team to achieve department productivity and quality goals
· Ensure line clearance is practiced for mix-up prevention
· Ensure customer orders are fulfilled on line in full’
· Ensure all products meet specified quality standards and minimize the cost of production
· Employee orientation and training
· Enforce workers’ basic work disciplines and resolve worker’s problems
· Ensure workplace safety
· Daily reporting to the management
Requirements
· Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years of supervisory skills in manufacturing environment
· Bilingual in English and Chinese (to liaise with Chinse speaking counterparts)
· Leadership skills are necessary to manage and develop a team
· Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
· Able to work in a fast paced working environment.
