Position: Finance Executive
Job Type: 6 months contract (renewable & convertible)
Working Hours: 8:30am - 6pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Suntec Convention Centre
Salary: Up to $5,000
Job Description:
- Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc.
- Manage timely closing process and reconciliations, including intercompany transactions
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
- Liaise with banks on banking transactions
- Support the operational teams in maintaining strong vendor relationships
- Check and process petty cash
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Manage the accounting and prepare full set of accounts for related companies
- Assist with receiving functions
- Support audit and tax queries
- Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance and tax filing requirements, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal
- Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
Requirements:
- Able to handle fast-pace environment and large work amount
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
- At least 5 years of working experience in digitalized accounting environment
- Highly efficient in ERP system or other evolving business intelligence systems/platforms
