As an Operations Manager at NORDEN, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth operation of vessels.
You will be based in our modern and vibrant office in Suntec City, Singapore.
What is in it for you
You will be responsible for the operation of vessels in various areas. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Planning and execution: Plan and execute dry bulk vessels, ensuring optimal vessel performance and adherence to schedules.
- Cargo operations: Oversee cargo operations, including loading and unloading processes, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Performance monitoring: Monitor vessel performance and operational efficiency, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Stakeholder communication: Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including agents, owners, vessels, charterers and other internal stakeholders.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant.
- Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges promptly and effectively.

Besides this you hold:
- 5 years or more of shipping experience in dry bulk operations ashore.
- Experience with P&L responsibility.
- A good understanding of IT systems. IMOS and SEDNA experience would be a valuable asset.
