COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary SAP Techno/Functional support in SAP Finance and Controlling module to meet user demands in a timely manner, so as to minimize inconvenience and disruption to end-users or business workflow.
- Prioritize, plan, and work closely with business on new or modified requirements for the implementation of SAP or other application solutions.
- Establish system specifications, develop test scenario and script based on SAP or other relevant programming tools and techniques while collaborating with business to conduct test to ensure that system solutions meet user requirements and are of a high-quality standard.
- Responsible for end-to-end system implementation or upgrade lifecycle including planning, design, testing, training, data migration and post go-live support to ensure system delivery within established scope, timeframe, and budget.
- Evaluate, recommend and initiate solutions in the areas of end-user computing, system support, system development and system performance to improve service level and achieve optimum user satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of technology changes and be able to identify and implement new IT solutions for supporting updates in IT strategy as well as business requirements.
- Maintain, update and ensure compliance with IS/IT work procedures and standing instructions so as to meet quality standards.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- At least 6 years of IS/IT experience in SAP Finance and Controlling Module which must include SAP ERP implementation and support experience.
- Familiar with SAP & related programming tools/techniques, such as ABAP, PI, Web Dynpro.
- Certified in any of the SAP module (FI/CO, MM, PM, PS) preferred.
- Knowledge in SAP Procurement and Inventory will be an added advantage.
