The Department and Role
The firm's global CR strategy consists of 3 pillars:
1. Our Colleagues (diversity & inclusion, and wellbeing)
2. Our Communities (charity partnerships, pro bono, volunteering, and fundraising)
3. Sustainability (client sustainability work, behaviour change and climate education, and operational emissions reduction)
These pillars are delivered in Partnership with key stakeholders of the firm (colleagues, clients and suppliers). The CR Manager will collaborate closely with the rest of the team (based in London) to roll out global initiatives across the 3 pillars, and to provide regional subject matter expertise to the Asia Pacific region across the remit of the CR team.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange governance meetings, help Senior CR Manager and senior sponsors across our global network to prepare meeting papers and take/write up minutes
- Deliver diversity and inclusion initiatives globally (with guidance and input from the Senior CR Manager) including internal and external events; internal campaigns; organising training; and liaising with key external partners and internal contacts
- Support CR team colleagues and other stakeholders globally to design and deliver D&I programme across our 5 pillars: Gender, Race & Ethnicity, Healthy Minds, Social Mobility and LGBTQ+
- Work with the CR team with the roll-out of global CR initiatives (in the Our Communities and Sustainability pillars)
- Support the Senior CR Manager to engage clients and suppliers in CR activities i.e. Seeking D&I collaboration opportunities with clients
- Share CR knowledge and best practice between international offices as required
- Support CR communication campaigns, including liaison with the international offices and use of social media
- Support the Senior CR Manager with the delivery of annual CR reports
- In collaboration with the Senior CR Manager, develop and maintain the Intranet and CR section of the website
- Collection of CR data for internal and external reporting
- Any other ad hoc duties as may be needed
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Demonstrable expertise in Corporate Responsibility generally (Specific expertise in one of the 3 pillars: Community Investment, D&I, Sustainability a distinct advantage)
- Experience in event management
- Strong capabilities in change management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Professional and enthusiastic demeanour
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with social networking platforms e.g. LinkedIn
- Flexible regarding working hours (normal office hours are between 9.30am and 6.00pm). This role requires close collaboration with the rest of the CR team in London, as well as colleagues across our global network, requiring a degree of flexibility in working pattern
