Volunteer Management & Membership Executive

Key Responsibilities:


Volunteer Management:

  • Develop and implement volunteer policies and processes.
  • Create a Volunteer Management Framework and Volunteer Training Programs.
  • Manage volunteer resources efficiently.
  • Drive and liaise with all stakeholders (social service agencies, community, and corporate partners).
  • Develop strategies and operational plans to raise awareness of volunteering opportunities within the Association.
  • Review and evaluate the volunteer program to ensure its relevance and alignment with future needs.
  • Serve as the primary communication link between the Association and its volunteers.
  • Outreach and engage volunteers to support SNSA services, including hybrid programs and onsite/offsite befriending services.

Membership Management:

  • Conduct strategic planning and resource allocation for membership drives in line with the organization's vision and mission.
  • Evaluate and enhance membership policies and processes.
  • Develop strategic community programs and partnerships to drive memberships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all members and volunteers.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for growth to better serve SNSA members and the community.
  • Collaborate with relevant colleagues to identify and implement IT systems for membership or volunteer data analysis and impact management.

Job Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in community relations work, volunteer management, and membership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a keen interest in building and maintaining databases and recruiting volunteers.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and driven with initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging with people.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision, while also respecting teamwork and dynamics
