Job Summary
We are seeking a SCADA Engineer to manage the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and distribution management systems applications.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Electronics /Computer Science/Software Engineering;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in power software development;
- Familiar with basic power converter principles and control algorithms;
- Good understanding on how to apply instrumentation like Flow, Pressure, and Temperature from various manufacturers;
- Knowledge in programming languages such as C, C++ and Java;
- Knowledge on PLC program fundamentals;
- Knowledge in Solaris and Linux Operating System;
- Possess strong problem analysis and handling abilities;
- Good verbal and communication skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience working in Utilites domain.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and distribution management systems applications;
- Responsible for embedded software development of power products, including requirement analysis, functional design, and maintenance;
- Involved in enhancement of the software functionality and troubleshooting to maintain system reliability and performance;
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, enhancements, and fixes;
- Conduct power software debugging, optimize algorithms to reduce power module consumption for high-power power supplies;
- Develop power monitoring software and related protocols;
- Manage software code and perform code testing.
