Our client are looking for next team members to join their growing team:
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide customer with timely, professional, efficient and effective technical expertise on system support, cloud support, enterprise IT solutions (Virtualization, Server and SAN storage), system installation, configurations and provide onsite technical support for designated clients and locations
- Perform installation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure (Hardware and Software) including remote troubleshooting
- Support of replacement and upgrade for computer & server equipment
- Analyses software and hardware error logs, utilizes diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques and operating system analysis to ensure timely and effective repair.
- Analyses, diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs hardware, storage area network and systems configuration and compatibility problems.
- Others related duties
Technical Proficiency:
- Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Networking: Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and network protocols.
- Hardware: Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting servers, switches, routers, storage and other network devices.
- Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Red hat Virtualization).
- Others: Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (M365), Security products (Trend Micro) can be advantageous.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery:
- Knowledge in backup solutions (e.g., Veeam).
- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and testing.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate with minimum Higher Nitec, Diploma certification in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
- At least 2-4 years working experience in a Technical Support role.
- Experience with server configuration will be a plus.
- Must be able to take 24x7 standby duty and work after office hours and weekends
- All other skills taken into consideration upon job application.
