Job Description
The team of Prof Loh Kian Ping invites application for a postdoctoral fellow/research fellow working in condensed matter physics and two dimensional (2-D) materials devices. Our research focuses on investigating topological physics in quantum materials, with the aim of controlling potentially exotic properties such as anomalous Hall effect, non-linear Hall effect, magnetism, metal-insulator transitions, and topological properties.
The candidate should have experience working in clean room and familiar with
(1) the lithography of nano-devices, i.e. hall bar, field effect transistors and/or
(2) optoelectronic devices in low temperature transport system
Qualifications and Requirements
The candidate should have a PhD degree and strong track record in 2-D materials physics, publishing in the area of quantum topology physics concerning 2-D materials, or in the spintronics (spin Hall effect) of 2-D materials. The candidate should be adept at using low temperature, magnetic field transport system and is expected to commission and install low temperature transport equipment with magnetic field.
An attractive renumeration package will be offered for suitable candidate (research fellow) with a strong record in 2-D condensed matter physics and who has good publication record.
