Head Hostess
Brief Job Description
As our Head Hostess, you must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, be able to engage with our guests, and manage the reservation system. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to establish guest relations with our guests and moderate online and offline engagement with our community.
Responsibilities
● Manage Reservation system as per day-to-day operations, respond to guest queries/bookings and inquiries promptly
● Provide excellent service to all our guests, and coordinate on special requirements with the kitchen and front of the house team.
● Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews, Resolve customer complaints by conducting a thorough investigation of the situation and coming up with the most effective resolution
● Organize and facilitate event orders and coordination to the FOH / BOH team.
● Coordinate with Marketing, PR, and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
● Liaise with Development and Sales departments on events and to stay updated on new menus, promotions, and events of the outlets
● Manage/ Facilitate events and liaise with clients and external vendors
Requirements
● Proven work experience as a head hostess/ executive
● Experience launching community initiatives (programs, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter to guests)
● Excellent verbal communication (Mandarin and English proficient in communication & writing) and great interpersonal skills
● Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
● Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels, MS Office-related duties
● Attention to detail and ability to multitask
● BS Degree in Marketing, Hospitality, or a relevant field
