Job Description
The Kitchen Assistant will assist with food preparation, kitchen maintenance, and ensure the kitchen operates smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Chinese cuisine and eager to learn from experienced chefs.
Responsibilities
· Assist in food preparation
· Ensure the freshness and quality of food items and help with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
· Maintain cleanliness and the hygiene of the kitchen
· Understand and complies with the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chef
· Able to work in shift
Qualifications
· Relevant working experience as a kitchen assistant or similar roles in fast paced F&B industry (quick service restaurant, fast food chains, Hotel etc)
· Diploma/Professional certificate in culinary (preferred but not a must)
· Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
· Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and on shift working hours Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
· Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and handle busy peak hours.
· Able to work in shift. We offer various working schedules to fit your needs, including:
