We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Product Owner for SAP for Cloud Insurance to lead the development and management of our cloud-based insurance solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SAP systems, cloud technologies, and the insurance industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet market demands and customer needs, driving innovation and excellence in our offerings.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASK
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for SAP for Cloud Insurance.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
- Create and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Work with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demand, and business priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product development and strategy.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve the product.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on product performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and strategies.
- Facilitate Complex Issue Resolutions
- Willing to travel to Client Location up to 80%
- You will develop comprehensive and sustainable system landscapes.
- Your several years of experience with transformation of business in integrated IT architectures for entire business processes considering the specific requirements of the insurance industry helps you to deliver a high-quality service for our customers.
- You will be responsible to drive innovation either internally or with the customer support to improve existing system technology and business models.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- An experienced professional with over 15 years in the insurance industry, specializing in business processes, insurance products, and the value chain of primary insurers.
- Expertise in product and policy management for Property and Casualty, Life and Pensions, and Health insurance.
- Proven track record in implementing and upgrading insurance solutions, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori, with practical project experience in business consulting and project management.
Key Qualifications:
- Profound knowledge of insurance processes, regulations, and core processes in the insurance industry.
- Proficient in SAP for insurance and understanding of SAP BTP and cloud technologies.
- Experience in at least 7 major system implementations, including 3 full life cycle implementations, with a focus on S4I in Life Insurance.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and project management skills, with familiarity with agile methodologies.
- University degree in IT, computer science, or business administration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Operational knowledge and project experience in SAP implementation methodologies.
- Techno-functional expertise in SAP for Insurance and hands-on experience with multiple insurance systems.
