The Network Security team in Singapore is currently looking for an IT Security Professional to support security tools such as firewalls, Web Application Firewalls and Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems for BAU and projects.
The new joiner will work actively with local and global teams on the evolution of the Network from an IT Security perspective.
Direct Responsibilities
- Responsible for IT Governance on Network Security with monitoring and control tasks to ensure processes and implementations are executed correctly
- Design, validate, implement and document end-to-end processes workflows on security implementations
- Handle internal customer inquiries with firewall consultation and troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- Establish regular contact with Management with reports, dashboards and regular summaries of governance control tasks
- Communicate with external vendors over technical support and solutions for new projects
- Proactively identify areas of improvement and implement fixes and solutions to automate/fine-tune the processes with new or existing tools
- Experience with firewall rules implementation and troubleshooting upon incidents.
- Able to understand web application mechanism and has knowledge of Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Involve in update/upgrade/migration of security tools used by the team
- Maintain clear and functional documentation on process guides, technical instructions, network details, etc.
- Other duties assigned by management as requested
Contributing Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Permanent Control framework for implementation of policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as the Control Plan
- Contribute to Internal Audit response activities
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Contribute to the improvement of tools used by Production Security to follow up on the Security Incidents
