Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1/2 Support: Assist assigned accounts with troubleshooting and resolving application, server, and network issues.
- System Administration & Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of Windows XP / 7 / 10 / 11, Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022, and MSSQL 2005 / 2008 / 2012 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022 environments.
- Daily IT Operations: Maintain seamless continuity of daily IT functions.
- Documentation: Write and execute change requests, validation protocols, and technical documents.
- Diagram Management: Draw and update architecture, network, and other IT diagrams.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, and other IT-related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant skill experience.
- Good project documentation skills in English
MUST HAVES – To articulate and effectively demonstrate the level of proficiency through a portfolio of projects and involvement:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, RDS, MSSQL
- Knowledge of basic LAN/WAN networking infrastructure
- Virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware
- Capable of troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with minimum supervision.
- Proficient in installing, configuring, migrating, upgrading, and maintaining servers, desktop PCs, OS, software, and peripherals.
- Able to work independently and as a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
Added advantage if the candidate possesses:
- Knowledge of Linux
- VBA and MSSQL programming languages
- DevOps technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, CI/CD implementations
- Automation and IoT technologies like OPC and MQTT
- Cloud services such as AWS (preferred), GCP and Azure
