We are seeking a skilled Oracle EBS support consultant to join our client’s IT Application team. The consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting, designing, implementing, and managing finance applications within Oracle EBS.
Key activities include gathering and defining requirements, configuration of standard applications, gap analysis, functional design of application extensions, and end user support for multiple modules across geographies to support the business operations.
The Role
· Maintain and provide (level 2 & 3) support for Oracle EBS (12.1.3) Finance modules, ensuring smooth business transactions.
· Support users, maintain applications, and troubleshoot functional issues and transactions.
· Collaborate with the application support team to execute daily operations and continually assess system processes for enhancements and solutions that align with user requirements.
· Analyze interfaces and integration points for optimal performance.
· Configure and modify settings within Oracle Finance Modules.
· Engage closely with business users to drive process improvements and manage changes.
· Coordinate with external support/consulting firms for incident, requirement, and change management.
· Document current and future business processes, configuration scripts, and related functional/technical specifications.
· Conduct root cause analysis and apply advanced problem-solving skills.
· Utilize data analysis to translate business needs into technical specifications.
· Manage Finance and IT projects, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
Your Profile
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
· Strong proficiency in Oracle modules including Finance, Order Management, Account Payables, Account Receivables, Quoting, and associated Boundary tools.
· 3+ years of experience as an IT Technical/Functional Analyst with expertise in Oracle R12 Finance modules.
· Strong SQL proficiency and understanding of Finance database structures.
· Skilled in PL/SQL, OAF, Java/JSP, SQL, HTML, and XML.
· Knowledge of Reporting, Power BI, BI Publisher, OBIEE, RPA, and automation technologies a plus.
· Excellent analytical skills for technical issue resolution.
· Strong interpersonal, cross-functional team collaboration skills.
· Experience in multicultural and global settings, managing diverse relationships and time zones.
· Proven track record of proposing and implementing process improvements.
