Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end air freight logistics operations, including planning, booking, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with air freight carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners. Negotiate rates to secure the best terms for the company.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and documentation requirements. Work closely with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient handling of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or delays in the air freight process. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure seamless operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales teams, purchaser, operation teams & warehouse teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Work with Finance to verify freight invoices and facilitate payments to Logistics Service Providers.
- Arrange driver’s schedule for local pickup and delivery.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree holders
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a logistics role or equivalent
- Knowledgeable in import and export procedures for Air & Sea freight
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Skilled in data analysis, task management, and generating ideas
- Possesses a positive attitude and a mindset focused on continuous improvement
- On the job training will be provided
- Committed and willing to adapt and learn
- Bilingual in English & Mandarin
Others:
- Mon-Fri (10am-7pm) and Sat shift rotates every 3 weeks (11am-3pm)
