AWS Cloud Support Engineer

Synthify Tech Pte. Ltd.

Working day: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

Working location: Raffles Place



Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the maintenance, health checks, backup and performance tuning of the company's Aliyun and AWS cloud hosts.

· Responsible for the automated deployment of cloud platform infrastructure.

· Responsible for the designing and implementing of automated tools related to operation and maintenance;

· Design and implement systems such as build systems, continuous integration systems, automated testing platforms, code quality management systems, etc.

· Design, build and maintain the software development pipeline automation with its related tool sets to enable Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD).

· Design and implement the infrastructure and operating environment for container based microservices that meet the agreed high availability, performance, and security requirements.

· Provide 24 x 7 round the clock support to our business partners.

· Management of major incidents via conference call, email and instant messaging systems.

· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.


Job requirements:

· At least Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology, or related field.

· At least 3 years relevant experience on cloud engineering.

· Extensive experience in Cloud host, such as AWS cloud or Alibaba cloud.

· Experience in a Linux environment include deployment, configuration and tuning.

· Proficiency in scripting language (Shell / Python) for operation and maintenance automation.

· Expertise in CI/CD tools and practices and configuration management tool such as Ansible and jenkins.

· Familiar with the implementation and configuration of monitoring such as Zabbix and prometheus;

· Familiar with Kubernetes and Docker, including installation, deployment, configuration and optimization.

· Hand on Experience in GitLab/Wiki/LDAP related technologies.
