Responsibilities:
- Reviewing construction plans, tender specification and preparing quantity requirements within tender timeline.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Preparing tendering reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Supporting site managers on the material purchase and subcontracts upon project awarded. Recommend improvements and new strategies where applicable.
- Documenting any changes in design, updating budgets and drawings using CAD software.
- Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
- Printing CAD drawing schematics for use by construction managers, and engineers.
- Entering CAD data into building information modeling (BIM) systems to create 3-D models and renderings.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
- Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- Great networking abilities.
