Manager/Lead, Supply Chain Network Design & Optimization
Our Client from FMCG industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager/Lead, Supply Chain Network Design & Optimization.
You will play a crucial role overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of supply chain network design projects, ensuring they align with the broader Supply Chain development strategy and organizational goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading project planning, managing scope, deliverables, resources, costs, and timelines across all functions, providing decisive leadership under pressure.
- Tailoring delivery approaches to suit each business challenge.
- Identifying stakeholders, addressing their requirements and concerns, and designing effective communication plans.
- Managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior management, throughout project lifecycles.
- Negotiating project costs, tracking finances, and allocating expenses to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the Supply Chain Business Insights team to develop metrics, dashboards, and reports to track project outcomes and ensure alignment with company strategies.
- Providing regular status reports, highlighting progress, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders and sponsors.
- Leading change management efforts, including training and addressing stakeholder concerns.
- Ensuring quality across all project aspects, enforcing governance, and communicating transparently about risks and mitigation plans.
- Anticipating and managing changes to project plans and scope, maintaining detailed documentation.
Job Requirements
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or industrial engineering, or a similar field.
- 8 years Project Management experience in managing supply chain networks, optimizing them, and leading transformative projects
- Deep technical understanding of warehouse automation technologies and material handling equipment, coupled with awareness of emerging trends and innovations in the field
- Have a thorough awareness and comprehension of the logistics, transportation, process optimization, and inventory management aspects of the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain.
- Preferred professional certifications in supply chain management (e.g. APICS) and/or project management e.g. PMP, Prince2 etc.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership team and collaborate all levels
- Effective negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skill.
- Good analytical, written, presentation and communication skills
