OutSystems Support Analyst (Ref 25661)

Responsibilities

Application Transition and Maintenance:

• Work closely with development teams during the transition phase of applications from development to production

• Monitor and maintain existing OutSystems applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality, performance, and user experience

Client Interaction and Requirements Gathering:

• Engage with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements

• Translate client requirements into technical specifications and design solutions using OutSystems

• Provide estimates for development efforts and project timelines

Technical Leadership:

• Lead a technical team responsible for application support and maintenance

• Create and share best practices and promote continuous learning

• Collaborate with other teams such as QA, DevOps, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions

Mobile and Web Solutions:

• Work on OutSystems solutions that span both mobile and web platforms

• Ensure seamless integration between mobile and web components

• Optimize applications for responsive design and cross-device compatibility


Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

• More than 3 years of experience in Outsystems

• OutSystems Proficiency:

• Strong experience in OutSystems development, including creating modules, screens, and logic flows

• Familiarity with OutSystems Forge components and integration patterns

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug OutSystems applications effectively

• Problem-Solving Skills:

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

• Communication and Collaboration:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and quality assurance professionals

• Mobile and Web Development:

• Understanding of mobile and web application development principles

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
