· Collaborate with Sales Managers to identify and uncover a prospect’s business goals, needs and pains
· Understanding customers’ requirement and map down a solution proposal to meet their needs working very closely with vendors and distributors.
· Prepare and deliver tuned product demonstrations and technical presentations to our customers.
· Deliver deep dive architecture and integration discussions
· Assist in RFI/RFP tender responses
· Assist account managers in the on-going management of customer relationships to drive additional revenue
· Continuous product update knowledge with the focus vendor
· Enablement of new product knowledge, sizing, licenses, hardware bill of materials from various vendors
· Able to create bill of materials based on the solution proposed to the customers.
1. Degree in Engineering or computer science or IT
2. 2 years relevant experience as a system or presales engineer with hands-on experience
3. Good understanding and knowledges of IT infrastructure, able to propose IT infrastructure based on best practise
4. Good understanding of system products and solutions including server, SAN storage, NAS, hypervisors, HCI solution, backup solution, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, M365, Exchange
5. 2-year experience in System Implementation like Microsoft, VMware, Veeam implementation preferred
6. Min 2 years of experience in Network & Security Project Implementation
7. Certification in VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSA/Azure Fundamental or related preferred
8. CCNA certification is a requirement, CCNP will be advantageous
9. Experience in TCP/IP ,VPN/Firewalls/IDS/IPS, VOIP, Structured Cabling, wireless
LAN and routing technologies
10. Strong experience in WAN & LAN network topology and design
11. Experience in network design and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, IP addressing, routing protocols, Domain Name Services, Proxy Services and Radius Services
12. Cloud solution experience such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc will be an advantage
