Job Description
- Overseeing the entire transport department, including both operational and backend support.
- Developing operational plans in alignment with the company's strategic direction.
- Increasing company sales if necessary.
- Plan and manage transport operations to meet customer requirements and company targets.
- Monitor transport costs and ensure they are within budget.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and customers.
- Manage and motivate the logistics team to ensure high-quality performance.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing logistics operations.
- Verify Vendor Invoice
- Billing
- Establish and oversee standard practices such as equipment inspections and regular walkthroughs.
- Arrange internal sessions for issue alignment, especially for critical matters.
- Conduct recruitment interviews for additional team members, as required.
- Provide leadership and supervision to mentor and develop the operations team to achieve operational excellence and deliverable.
- Ad hoc assigned by head of the division.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable liaising with people across all levels within organisation and external parties
- Creative, hands-on individual, excellent ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Good written, verbal and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
