Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Marketing Manager to join the Comms and Marketing Team. The candidate will lead content development for CFS, including developing and executing strategies, content and collateral that align with our brand goals, tone of voice and objectives.

This role will involve creating high-quality, engaging content across various channels to attract and engage our target audiences. The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Comms and Marketing and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all touchpoints.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute content strategies that align with overall brand goals and objectives.
  2. Create high-quality, engaging content across various channels, including marketing collateral, blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, case studies, and social media posts.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify content needs and opportunities, and ensure content aligns with target audience interests and preferences.
  4. Manage content calendar and production schedule to ensure timely delivery of content assets.
  5. Work with the Digital Marketing team to optimize content for SEO, track and analyse content performance metrics, and use insights to iterate and optimise content strategies and tactics.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in philanthropy and content marketing, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  7. Work closely with vendors to ensure content assets are visually appealing and effectively communicate key messages.
  8. Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and influencers to amplify content reach and engagement.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Certification in content marketing is a plus.
  2. Proven experience (5-8 years) in content marketing, with a track record of creating and executing successful content strategies that drive business results.
  3. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content for various audiences and channels.
  4. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  5. Good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  7. Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content marketing.


This is a full-time role and the incumbent will be hired on a contract for service for 12 months with an option to renew, subject to performance and business needs.
