Job description
We are looking for a Talend Lead Developer. Your role as Lead Developer will be to lead and to be an advisory for the senior stakeholders on the technologies / designing and implementation. The project will involve migration from datastage to Talend itself, so someone who has experience on migration projects will be a huge plus.
Responsibilities
- Talend Data Integration: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of at least 7 plus years of experience with Talend's data integration tools, including Talend Open Studio, Talend Data Integration, and Talend ESB. Proficiency in designing and developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend is essential.
- Database and SQL: Familiarity with various databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Data Quality and Governance: Knowledge of data quality management practices, data profiling, and data governance. Understanding how to enforce data quality standards within Talend jobs.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Proficiency in debugging Talend jobs and identifying and resolving issues related to data integration processes.
- Leadership and Team Management: Excellent leadership and management skills to lead a team of Talend developers effectively. This includes providing guidance, setting goals, and mentoring team members.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders, understand their requirements, and explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
