We offer scalable, drop-in technology solutions to bring cutting-edge lithium-ion battery performance to mass-market applications. As our technologies are taken to market, we are looking for a capable Operations Assistant to join our team.


We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Assistant to support our administrative and operational functions. The ideal candidate will have outstanding spoken and written communication skills in English and Chinese, and preferably hold a degree from an ITE or polytechnic institute in a physical science. This role will involve recording action items, interfacing with vendors and procurement, handling human resource activities, assisting the management team with their calendar and priorities, and performing various administrative tasks related to filing, accounting, and office work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and track action items from meetings and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Maintain organized records of all administrative and operational activities.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist in managing procurement processes for chemicals, equipment, and other supplies.Maintain records of purchases and inventory.
  • Support human resource activities such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and assisting with payroll processing. Coordinate HR-related communications and documentation.
  • Assist the management team with calendar management, scheduling meetings, and prioritizing tasks. Prepare and coordinate materials for meetings and presentations.
  • Handle all activities related to the set up and maintenance of portals for government departments and other third parties. This includes filings, aggregation of company documents, setup and entry of basic information.
  • Track and ensure timely completion of all activities related to corporate governance compliance.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate documents and communications between English and Chinese as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Degree from an ITE or polytechnic in a physical science or related field.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or operations role is preferred but not required.
  • The candidate must have outstanding spoken and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in office software, including Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, is required.
  • The candidate should be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new tasks are necessary.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment are important.
  • The candidate must be trustworthy and discreet, capable of handling confidential information with care.
