Your Role?
As a QA Engineer, your responsibilities will include creating and implementing strategies for quality coordination and testing. You will also be responsible for suggesting solutions to identified quality problems. In this exciting role, your scope of duties will encompass but not be limited to
- Liaise and conduct root cause analyses with inter-departments, suppliers, and customers on the effectiveness of corrective actions and preventive measures to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain the Equipment Calibration System (internal/external).
- Implement, maintain, and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Support the inspection of products (visual and dimensional measurements).
- Conduct environmental testing (internal/external) when required.
- Support the qualification of new suppliers and maintain/develop the performance of existing suppliers.
- Support external/internal quality audits.
- Lead/initiate improvement projects.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and conduct training for quality inspectors.
Your Profile?
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of QA experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Optics Manufacturing, including inspection, is preferred but not mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in supplier qualification and development, internal audits, and maintaining ISO Systems.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and Smartscopes.
- Possesses good knowledge of SPC, MSA, FMEA, and QC Tools.
- Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).
- Team player with strong communication skills across all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
