Account Manager (Sales Focus)

Job Description:

As an Account Manager at Scanmed Technology, you will be responsible for managing and growing our client accounts with a focus on sales. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales targets, retain existing clients, and identify opportunities for account expansion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach.
  • Understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients about our products and services.
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to effectively address client inquiries and concerns.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Manage the sales funnel, ensuring consistent progress and timely closure of deals.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align account management strategies with company objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role with a strong sales focus in the medical device industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Experience in managing the sales funnel and driving deals to closure.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge of medical devices and the ability to effectively communicate this to clients.
