As a Sustainable Energy Project Coordinator, you will support the growth and implementation of sustainable energy projects within the maritime industry. You will work closely with the sustainable energy team and collaborate across departments to promote the use of cleaner energy sources through research, data analysis, and project coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Alternative Fuels & Carbon Neutral Solutions:Assist in the development of alternative marine fuels and carbon-neutral solutions for clients.
Engage with customers, authorities, and marine classification societies to facilitate projects.
- Research and Analysis:Conduct research on sustainable energy technologies and policies.
Analyze vessel energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission data.
Evaluate potential sustainable energy initiatives and projects.
- Project Coordination:Support and coordinate the execution of sustainable energy projects.
Participate in feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
Organize and manage project meetings, presentations, and documentation.
Track project progress and provide regular updates.
- Strategy and Policy:Contribute to developing strategies for low-carbon marine fuels and energy.
Identify policy gaps and suggest opportunities for integration.
Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Prepare reports and tools for carbon management as needed.
- Communication and Outreach:Assist in creating reports, presentations, and educational content.
Help organize workshops, seminars, and other events.
Support communication efforts both within the company and with external stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:Work with teams to implement sustainable energy practices.
Share insights and innovative ideas with colleagues to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, maritime, engineering, or a related field, or at least 3 years of experience in a related area.
- Passion for sustainable energy and environmental issues.
- Familiarity with maritime operations and renewable energy technologies is a plus.
- Strong research, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Eager to learn and contribute to sustainable energy solutions.
