Job Description
· Preparation and checking of the Branch’s MAS and Head Office reports and make adjustments, where required.
· Assist with monitoring and compliance with regulatory requirements and assist department head to consolidate operating budgets for the branch.
· Prepare of journal entries and transactions, ensure adherence with Accounting Policy and Head Office requirements, including handling general account inquiries and other related concern.
· Review of Nostro reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of unreconciled items.
· Analysing financial data and prepare related reports to the management, including ratios for assets-liabilities position monitoring, Head Office regulatory requirement and ad hoc requests for financial information.
· Preparation financial statements and the provision of supporting documents to Head Office and auditors, collaborating with tax consultants to manage annual tax return submissions and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
· Daily routine such as collect and bind daily vouchers, file of documents, and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
· Cover partial duties when the general affairs staff is on leave.
Requirements
· A recognized diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking or Business.
· Former experiences in bank regulatory and financial reporting are preferred.
· Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage as the role requires some understanding of documents in Mandarin from Head Office.
· Able to work independently and with multiple stakeholders.
· Positive attitude, good team player and wiliness to collaborate within and across teams.
· Good communication skills, with ability to communicate well with various stakeholders, including Head Office teams in Taiwan.
