About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Operations Director to lead and oversee the service operations in Gain City Logistics. He/She shall ensure timely and accurate responds to feedback and take an active role in resolving any issues. You may also be involved in sales, transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
Responsibilities:
· Partner with Sales, operations, Quality & Finance to ensure overall financial and operational excellence for the customer service department
· Perform strategic planning including the setting of specific KPIs for the department.
· Plan and ensure continuous improvements of service & operational delivery processes.
· Respond to customer escalated inquiries and requests
· Investigating customer satisfaction and reporting any issues.
· Develop and maintain excellent rapport with customer issues/concerns.
· Ensure that all contractual deliveries are fulfilled.
· Responsible for work safety measures & risk assessment for Logistics departments.
· Ensuring the business operates within the company mission statement.
· Working with department heads and senior management to get the best performance from staff.
· Responsible for business development of logistics-related segment.
· Involved in the management of warehouse and stock control
Requirements:
· Minimum a bachelor's degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain or equivalent
· Has at least 10 years of management and customer service experience.
Note : Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Director role.
