Position: Business Development Manager

Reports to: Marketing Director and Chief Marketing Officer
Overview: Warabimochi Kamakura Singapore is expanding, and we are looking for a dynamic and qualified Business Development Manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new venues for our outlets in accordance to our brand identity, liaising with leasing landlords, and driving marketing initiatives. This role will also involve exploring potential collaborations with established brands to enhance our market presence and value.
Key Responsibilities:
Venue Selection and Evaluation:
- Select, identify and evaluate potential venues for new outlets.
- Conduct market research to determine the viability of locations.
- Prepare feasibility studies and business cases for proposed locations.
Leasing and Landlord Liaison:
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions with landlords.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with landlords and leasing agents.
- Ensure compliance with lease agreements and company policies.
Marketing Initiatives:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for the whole business.
- Aligning our brand identity with the interior and exterior design of every new outlet along with Project Director.
- Identify opportunities for promotions and brand awareness campaigns.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing decisions.
Brand Collaborations:
- Identify and pursue collaboration opportunities with established brands to elevate brand value.
- Develop proposals and pitches for potential partners along with Marketing Director.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement collaborative projects.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on venue performance and market trends.
- Provide historical insights and recommendations based on data analysis from previous business occupant during takeover.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of marketing initiatives and collaborations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related fields such as F&B Operations.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, marketing, or a related role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in market research and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with the Singapore retail and real estate market is a plus.
