We are currently seeking freelance STEM, coding, and robotics trainers to join our team. As a trainer, your responsibility is to create a dynamic and enjoyable learning atmosphere that encourages critical thinking, nurtures creative thought, and develops problem-solving skills in students ranging from primary to secondary school.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conducting STEM, computer science, and robotics (Lego Spike Prime/EV3) lessons.
- Demonstrating effective communication of concepts with engaging explanations.
- Displaying patience and a genuine fondness for working with children of various age groups.
- Evaluating student learning and offering constructive feedback to both students and parents as needed.
- Exhibiting strong communication skills and collaborating effectively within a team, while fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Capturing photos of class activities.
We are seeking individuals who:
- Have experience as a freelance STEM trainer.
- Are pursuing a diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or science.
- Are not pursuing any related diploma/degree in the specified fields but are interested in joining the technology education sector.
- Do not necessarily need coding experience; training will be provided. However, a strong interest in learning or advancing coding skills is essential.
- Have a passion for educating children, with teaching experience considered a bonus.
- Possess experience in teaching students with learning differences and special needs (an added advantage).
- Demonstrate organizational skills and enjoy working in a lively, engaging team.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Own a laptop (mandatory).
Requirements:
- Preferably registered as an MOE instructor; however, those without registration are also encouraged to apply.
Hourly Rates Ranging from:
- $20 SGD - $50 SGD/hr (Assistant Trainer/Main Trainer Positions)
All should be in the English language.
