We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our purchasing department by handling administrative tasks, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth procurement processes. Responsibilities:
· Assist the Purchasing manager with daily tasks and administrative duties.
· Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, place orders, and track shipments.
· Maintain and update purchasing records and vendor database.
· Prepare purchase orders and ensure accuracy of order details.
· Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock levels.
· Assist in negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers.
· Communicate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
· Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to purchasing activities.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as an administrative assistant, purchasing assistant, or similar role.
· Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor relations.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
· Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and purchasing software.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
