Job Description:
· Report to Managing Director and lead a large team of transport staff to achieve operational excellence.
· Coordinate closely with customer service, IT, and operations departments for seamless integrated operations.
· Conduct daily scheduling of delivery orders to the entire fleet.
· Manage and monitor fleet of vehicles, ensuring maintenance and servicing is upkept.
· Provide leadership to transport staff, by upholding standards and discipline.
· Be part of a strategic digital team to plan and deploy technological improvements regularly.
· Continuous improvement of vehicle and personnel productivity through effective leadership and training.
· Identify opportunities, propose and implement process improvements and workflow optimizations.
Job Requirements:
· Excellent leadership qualities, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or relevant fields with at least 5 years of logistics experience.
· Keen eye for detail, and appreciation for overall strategic picture.
· Ability to swiftly identify root causes and focus on solving root issues.
· Deep understanding of personal and staff capabilities, and ability to strengthen weaker areas through collaboration with management.
· Comfortable with technology and digital devices.
