Job Description:
- Monitor and manage day-to-day operations of projects, or function, including developing and monitoring budgets, coordinating activities with other sub-contractors.
- Plan the work schedule and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines
- Liaise with consultants and/or sub-contractors engaged on the project
- Attend regular meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-contractors and ensure the progress is on schedule.
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Monitor and ensure subcontractors comply with specified requirements.
- Identify and comply with all applicable statutory/ regulatory requirements related to project.
- Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks
- Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies and other problems
- Clear communication to external parties including client, subcontractors, consultants, vendors etc. on project needs, requirements and schedule by means of daily construction oversight.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) recognised by PE Board or equivalent.
- At least 12 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- At least 8 Year(s) of experience in managing construction teams for projects of similar scale and complexity
- Candidate must specialized in managing the construction of high-rise building pf at least 100m high, with deep basement structures
- Candidate should be well-experienced on LTA projects, such as Road, Bridge and Viaduct Projects
