Responsibilities:
- Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hour returns and coordinate all aspects of site issues for repair projects
- Liaise with Client and comply with inspection requirements
- Monitor job progress and ensure quality work at targeted schedule
- Study and evaluate the work processes and methods of the department and explore new ideas to improve work quality and productivity
- Resolve any technical problems or issues with Client
- Evaluate technical and engineering requirements of the jobs
- Obtain and monitor drawings and technical information
- Prepare reports on job status and project completion
- Conduct Risk Assessment and hazard reporting
- Attend VSCC Meeting, progress meeting , production meeting etc
- Bi-Weekly Production Planning
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Preferably with 2-5 years' working experience in a shipyard
- No prior experience are also welcome to apply
- Knowledge in Ship Repairs and Conversions projects will be advantageous
- Willing to be hands-on
- Able to work under outdoor site environment- Grease and Dust
- Resourceful, committed, independent and a good team player
