Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:
- Perform assembly, testing and packing of instrument air conditional environment.
- Fix instrument and sub-assemblies issues and follow-up with corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Perform instrument basic troubleshooting, repair, calibration, faulty materials segregation with follow-up activities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of fixtures to ensure fixtures are well maintained for manufacturing use.
- Ensure devices used in manufacturing are calibrated for use.
- Assist Instrument Engineers in carrying out validation / evaluations / experiments.
- Assist Instrument Supervisor and Engineers in improvement projects to improve product / process efficiency.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices in the manufacturing areas.
- Ensure work performed meet ISO 13485:2003 and 21- CFR - 820 requirements.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement activities, give constructive feedback and suggestions to improve instrument stability and performance.
- Assist new colleagues on their On-the-Job- Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy.
- Ensure accurate documentation and data integrity in JDE system.
Qualification:
- NTC in engineering fields, or 'N' / 'O' level with strong troubleshooting experience.
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years hands-on assembly and testing experience in an IS013485 manufacturing environment, preferably with strong problem solving and root cause analysis experience.
