Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Research Engineer to assist the lead and team Principal Investigator (PI) in managing a research project funded by the Low-Carbon Energy Research (LCER) Programme in National University of Singapore. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that project goals are met on time and within budget, facilitating effective communication among team members, and handling various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the PIs in the planning and implementation of the LCER-funded research project.
- Manage project budget, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including research team members, grantor, and external partners.
- Track project progress and milestones, ensuring timely delivery of project objectives.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, presentation slides, and regulatory submission.
- Oversee and manage administrative tasks related to the research projects.
- Facilitate effective communication within the research team and with external partners.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Handle purchase order and follow expenditure.
- Perform any additional duties within the project host unit.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
- preferably at least 1-2 years of project management experience, in an academic or research environment.
- Proven experience in managing research projects and administrative tasks.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
