- Assist the Manager, Fixed Assets, in overseeing the Fixed Asset Operation, including reviewing the accounting entries, month-end reports, printing of assets tag, preparing the accounting schedules.
- Review, standardize, and streamline Fixed Asset capitalization processes to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct asset verification exercises (AVE) and implement process controls for accurate and timely recording and maintenance of Fixed Assets.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Fixed Asset policies and procedures.
- Engage with Research Institutes to enhance their understanding of Fixed Asset processes.
- Generate management reports on Fixed Assets, addressing ad-hoc queries.
- Handle audit queries related to Fixed Assets and ensure all audit-related activities are conducted in accordance with established standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in Fixed Asset Management and within a shared service environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills for effective team management and stakeholder interaction.
- Meticulous with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Self-driven and independent, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Supervisory skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge of SAP system will be advantageous.
