We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Captain to join our team at our Halal BBQ & Smokehouse restaurant. The Service Captain will oversee the service staff, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that the dining area operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Train new service staff members on restaurant procedures, service standards, and Halal food handling.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Assist with seating guests, taking and serving orders, and handling guest inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure that all service staff adhere to the restaurant's standards and policies.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to service staff.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
- Address any service-related issues promptly and effectively.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in F&B.
- Proven experience as a Service Captain or in a supervisory role in a restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Halal food practices and requirements.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
