Responsibilities
- Design forex trading strategies for both domestic and international markets to minimize trading costs.
- Address market risks associated with business processes, develop corresponding system solutions and operational plans to reduce the likelihood and impact of these risks.
- Deliver forex trading solutions tailored to cross-border business scenarios and client needs, fulfilling requirements for quoting and trading models.
Requirements
- Masters’ degree or above in financial analytics or its equivalents, with a strong ability in machine-learning development.
- Experience in currency trading or forex system design at a bank or other forex trading institution, with a strong background in monitoring automated market making pricing and managing global portfolio risks.
- Expertise in developing machine learning-driven strategies for alpha generation and hedging, and proficiency in constructing systematic trading strategies for FICC products, including multi-factor strategies and volatility products.
- Ability to develop quantitative trading platforms for research, backtesting, and risk management, with a focus on continuous enhancement including production monitoring, risk allocation optimization, and automated model calibration.
- Keen insight into the forex market, staying updated on cutting-edge theories, research, and practices, combined with excellent logical thinking abilities and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility, passion, teamwork spirit, and the ability to handle pressure effectively, with experience in collaborating with sales teams to drive growth and improve trading franchise performance.
- Excellent language proficiency in both English and Chinese Mandarin in order to manage internal and external China-based and Chinese-speaking stakeholders and craft financial analysis and technical research papers in both languages professionally.
