Assistant Manager, Logistics Control (3PL)

  • Lead a team of officers and executives. Provide training and guidance to junior and/ new colleagues.
  • Ensure smooth day to day operations in assigned 3PL Divisions. To troubleshoot operational issues onsite and timely manner.
  • Plans, organizes, and sets up site and sequential job planning for smooth execution of projects to achieve cost, quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the projects and meeting the objectives initially set.
  • Play a key role to identify, champion, develop and coordinate change requests on Operations process and operations toolkit, service quality, operational efficiency and operational cost improvement ensuring that performance meets (and exceeds) Customer (internal and External) expectations.
  • Implement the overall direction and strategy for the projects being delivered.
  • Support the General Manager, 3PL and General Manager, Business Development in analyzing project risks and proposing mitigation plans to ensure all risks are calculated risks.
  • Analyze project risks and factors in mitigation plan; ensure all risks are calculated risks.
  • Prepare and provide project-related correspondence including progress reports, project timelines.
  • Prepare weekly/ quarterly/ monthly report to management.
  • Provide support to the General Manager, 3PL Division.
  • Prepare profit sheets for billing and ensure all costs are accurate and correct. Ensure timely and accurate billing in accordance with company accounting procedures.
  • Review, improve and standardize work processes and procedures to improve efficiency of the Department meeting ISO standard.
  • Work with Internal Control team lead to conduct internal audit activities
  • Ensure departments are operating with compliance with custom. regulations, classification & compliance and workplace safety and health regulations.
  • To evaluate and appraise subordinate’s work performance and set goal targets for Management review.

Job requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma Holder in Supply Chain Management and or any other discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience in Logistics & Supply Chain
  • Proven experience as a team lead
  • Good Knowledge of INCOterms
  • Good working knowledge for MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
