Responsibilities
- Operate and set up Audio/Lighting/Visual/vMix Consoles, all AV Equipment and to provide technical support advice related to AV equipment to event users and organisers.
- Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing.
- Provide lighting / sound / stage requirements as and when required.
- Carry out daily preventive and corrective maintenance and comply with safety at work.
- Inform Supervisor of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or may occur at work site.
- Daily checks on the cleanliness, testing of all equipment in Auditorium, Theatre, Training, Meeting rooms before and after each event.
- Conduct up to intermediate level troubleshooting of AV equipment.
- Assist in VIP visits, events and to client requests, when required.
- Verify and endorse of completion of work carry out by Term and Ad-hoc vendors/ Sub-contractors.
- Any other duties deemed necessary for the effective management & accomplishment of the department’s objective.
- To standby for meetings, events and video conferences where usage of AV equipment is expected
- Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)/vendors for repairs or servicing.
Requirements:
- At least ITE / NITEC in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 1-2 years of working experience with AV system and computer knowledge.
- Posses out-going personality, inquisitive mindset to explore and uncover technicalities to everyday problems.
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
- Able to work on Public Holidays, weekends and performing of overtime duties, when required. Hands on experience on show-entertainment devices Audio-Visual/ Video and Lighting technologies, preferably with AVLC system integration experience.
- Able to perform shift work (day or night) and weekends/public holidays.
- Able to work at height.
- Basic computer skills (MS office)
