Job description:
- Responsible to develop and review electrical design plans, specifications, and construction documents for the project.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to the electrical design team, ensuring that electrical systems are designed and installed according to project standards and codes.
- Design and oversee electrical systems for building projects.
- Review project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess electrical needs and feasibility.
- Create electrical designs, schematics, and drawings using CAD software.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure electrical systems are integrated successfully.
- Provide technical support and guidance during construction and installation phases.
- Perform calculations and analysis to determine electrical load requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Manage the commissioning and start-up of electrical systems and equipment, including testing and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support to the construction team, including addressing technical issues, resolving conflicts, and managing change orders related to electrical systems
Job requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
- Atleast 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and other related system.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to electrical systems
