An exciting opportunity awaits as we seek an experienced and dynamic ICT executive to join our team on secondment to Ministry of Education (MOE) schools. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in integrating cutting-edge educational technologies into the learning environment, fostering innovation, and ensuring that both educators and students are well-equipped to thrive in the digital age.


(Please note that we are only hiring Singaporeans and PRs because our ICT Trainers will be deployed into MOE School environments.)


Managing ICT Systems

1. Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) Device Management Application (DMA) Portal 2. Assets and Inventory Management System
3. eAnnouncement Broadcasting System


Performing Daily Checks and Implementation

1. Provide technical support to staff and students for iPad personal learning device (PLD) 2. Liaise with iPad PLD vendor for repair/replacement of students’ iPad
3. Liaise with DMA vendor for any technical support for students’ DMA
4. Monthly or Ad-Hoc Wall-to-wall inventory checks

5. Assist HOD ICT in MOE initiated rollouts and projects
6. Ensure classroom AV / IT equipment are in working order for daily teaching and learning
7. Assist Desktop Engineers (DE) in handling Schools SOE troubleshooting issues
8. Assist HOD ICT in procurement of ICT Equipment & Services
9. Gather information/feedback from staff on ICT needs and requirement
10. Propose solutions on need to replace/upgrade ICT Equipment
11. Propose specifications for invitation to quote on Gebiz (with the help of Administrative Manager (AM) and HOD / ICT in accordance with School Procurement Guidelines)
12. Meeting up with vendors for clarification
13. Maintain proper documentation of the various ICT purchases and loans to staff and students


Maintenance of ICT Facilities and Equipment

1. Work with DEs on all issues related to ICT facilities such as Computer Laboratories and IT Rooms 2. Work with DEs on preparation of ICT facilities and equipment for Laboratories, IT Rooms, PCs and teachers’ notebooks, visualisers, projectors etc
3. Work with DEs on all issues related to ICT equipment in the school

4. Regular checks on the Log in-out Files in Open Access Computer Labs, Monitoring the Usage of ICT facilities and equipment
5. Liaise with external contractors to maintain AV/IT equipment


Administrative Matters

1. To advise teachers and students on the use of ICT for projects and presentation.
2. To coordinate and assist teachers in the conducting of the AV activities (providing AV support). 3. To assist in maintaining and updating the school website, PDLP microsite and FHBL Dashboard 4. To advise teachers on software solutions which will solve their problems
5. To be involved in the integration of ICT into curriculum, instruction and assessment.
6. Deploy booked iOS devices to classrooms
7. Maintain booking of resources on an online portal
8. Design of PDLP Posters and Newsletters


Miscellaneous

1. To provide additional support to school for important events such as video recording, photography, AV support
2. To provide support for school’s presentation during major events
3. To assist in distribution / setting up of ICT equipment

4. To provide services for school functions on computer related matter


Qualifications & Skills required

• Preferably a Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or other relevant fields
• Familiar with MS Office, Adobe suite of products, Digital Media/Video production, AV setup, Basic Programming and Network trouble-shooting.
• Good management and organisational skills
• Good ICT technical knowledge
• Knowledge and proficiency in a range of IT skills and software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Ulead Video Studio, etc. is an added advantage
• Good interpersonal, communication and planning skills
• Ability to multitask, work both independently and as a team
• Good sense of responsibility


Basic Software Knowledge Requirement

Mandarin text input (Windows IME, Creative Hansvision)
• Internet Security, Subject/Content research and Copyright
• Utilising Multimedia facilities (Scanner, Digital Camera)
• Photo editing (e.g. Adobe Photoshop Elements)
o Presentation graphics for MS Word and MS PowerPoint
o Web graphics (basic)
• Microsoft Word (Advance)
• Microsoft Excel (Advance)
• Microsoft PowerPoint (Advance)
• Video & Audio Production Experience
• Have at least 1 year relevant experience (e.g., ICT Executive or Trainer in schools) • Any working experience with Secondary Schools will be an advantage
