Responsibilities


This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the sales and revenue strategies for Far East Hospitality's Sentosa cluster of hotels, namely (a) Village Hotel Sentosa (b) The Outpost Hotel Sentosa (c) The Barracks Hotel Sentosa (d) Oasia Resort Sentosa

  • Responsible for driving and optimising overall revenue for the Sentosa cluster of 4 hotels
  • Develop and implement strategies by analysing sales date to achieve the revenue targets for the various market segments, with focus on corporate, travel trade and catering
  • Responsible for pricing, promotion and marketing for each of the market segment.
  • Develop the annual budget for revenue and advertising and promotion expenses, including the sales & marketing plan for the various segments to support
  • Manage and lead the sales team to achieve the revenue and other goals by growing the account base, identifying the new business opportunities, fostering relatiohship with existing clients, etc.
  • Provide strategic insights on the market, demand and supply landscape based on analysis
  • Be a role model in terms of company values, professionalism, conduct and ability to market the hotel product and servies effectively
  • Attend trade shows, sales trips, industry events to promote and generate interest and leads
  • Be familiar with the brand standards and work closely with Marketing Communications to develop strategies to create awareness and marketing opportunities for the cluster
  • Work collaborately with the Revenue Management team to optimize revenue to the properties and operations team to ensure a good experience to the guests booked via the sales channels
  • Leverage and drive team compliance with various company systems and sales tools, such as property management system, customer relationship management system, booker loyalty where applicable

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in hospitality sales and marketing leadership or similar role, preferably with multiple property experience
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and market trends
  • Strong leadership and team management skills and able to work with various stakeholders
  • Possess drive and acute business acumen to achieve results
