Job Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing equipment, production output, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality products for customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic and mechanical parts to build machines based on required specifications, drawings and work instruction.
- Perform product functional/system test and leak test, identify errors and conduct rework if required.
- Report and assist engineers in problem solving and troubleshooting
- Ensure full and efficient passdown to the next shift
- Highlight any problems or abnormalities in production floor
- Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol
- Actively take part in continuous improvement activities
- Train and guide new operators/ manufacturing technicians (Buddy System)
- Support other ad-hoc activities and tasking that assign by the superior
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to speak and write simple English
- Basic computer literacy
- Possess hands-on experience in equipment manufacturing and troubleshooting
- Possess strong problem solving & analytical skills
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- NITEC / Higher NITEC or its equivalent
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Engineering
Experience Requirement:
- Able to comprehend electrical / mechanical drawings
- Willing to commit to the shift pattern and OT if required
- Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
- Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes
- Must be willing to work shift work
- Responsible, Self-motivated and good interpersonal skills
Work Experience:
1 - 3 years experience in manufacturing/aerospace/engineering industry
