Overview:

HER Wellness Club launched this year as Singapore’s first women’s health and wellness members club, combining Pilates, nutrition and mental wellness in one beautiful space. Our goal is to help women to be Healthy, Empowered and Resilient so they can thrive in every phase of their life.


As the Studio Manager for HER Wellness Club, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and an enjoyable experience of our members in their various club activities. You will be managing administration for members and premise operations, as well as facilitating club events and activities.


This role requires a customer-oriented, resourceful and efficient individual with a passion for women's wellness and attention to detail. You will need to be comfortable with digital software as we use an online system for managing our members and booking classes.


Responsibilities:


Membership Management:

  • You will be the first and main point of contact for all prospective and current clients and would have to manage all aspects of membership from enquiries and registration to class bookings and renewals with initiative and promptness
  • Work with the Director to attract and retain members, ensuring growth and sustainability of the club.
  • To present regular updates as defined by the Director on areas such as sales, member needs & feedback, class/event attendance, new enquiries etc…
  • On-board and engage with members to understand their wants and needs in order to provide personalised support in their wellness journey

Club Operations:

  • Responsible for day-to-day club operations including administrative and housekeeping duties, premise maintenance, ordering of stocks, cleanliness, safety protocols, etc.
  • Communicate internally with private kitchen chef, instructors, and other team members to ensure daily optimal provision of services and member satisfaction
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth functioning and maintenance of club amenities.
  • Create SOPs for different aspects of club operations including but not limited to opening/closing, events preparation, classes and more

Program Curation and Execution:

  • Work with the Director to plan and execute Pilates class schedules based on optimising space, member needs and instructor availability
  • Work with the Director to curate and execute a diverse wellness program of workshops, events and activities aligned with members’ interests and club values
  • Manage all administrative and logistical tasks to successfully execute classes, workshops, events and activities, including but not limited to coordinating wellness experts and professionals, event set-up, issuing invoices, etc.

Marketing support:

  • Administratively support Director in cultivating relationships with potential partners through arranging meetings and following up on discussions
  • Following-up on potential business development leads that could help in the acquisition of new members

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years working experience in administration, customer service and operations, especially for premium services, spaces or events
  • Strong sense of initiative and responsibility, efficient, practical, with an attention for detail, good organisational skills, plus a good team player
  • Warm and personable with good communication (speaking and writing) skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for events (around 3-4 times a month)
  • Preferred: Experience in studio management and/or the wellness/fitness industry preferred
  • Preferred: Marketing experience
  • Preferred: Passion for women's health and wellness
