Liquidity Management: Money Markets and ALM:
- Raising funds through various sources viz. Term Deposits, Certificate of Deposits and Money Markets to manage the ALM activity of the Branch.
- Managing funding and deployment activities.
- Hedging of Interest Rate and foreign currency risk.
- Ensure compliance with relevant MAS & RBI regulations.
- Ensure compliance with various limits (regulatory and internal).
- Expected to perform additional duties assigned by the Branch CEO / Management from time to time.
- Developing / enhancing relationships with Banks / FIs for Money Markets & FX lines.
- Ensure timely review and compliance of various Treasury policies.
- Regular updates / interactions with Treasury at Corporate Office.
Trading Activities: Interest Rates & Forex
- Achievement of annual trading income budgets by trading in instruments such as Bonds, IRFs as well as Forex (Spot/forwards, derivatives).
- Trading in India offshore credits and US rates.
- Ensure adherence to all risk limits assigned to trading activity of the branch.
Qualification and Experience:
- Degree in Finance / Economics, MBA / CA or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Treasury experience
- Familiar with the regulatory environment concerning financial industry in Singapore.
